Church of Shambhala Dakini MonasteryBackground of the Dakini MonasteryAs imprinted in buddhist history, His Holiness the first Rechung Rinpoche received teachings of the secret Whispered Chosen Truth from Jetsun Milarepa at the Dakini Monastery, the same monastery Jetsun Milarepa meditated when His state of mind was disturbed. His Holiness the 16th Rechung Rinpoche was endowed the responsibility of the 876 year old Dakini Monastery at the age of 30 in 1999 upon the request of more than a little more than 30,000 devotees. Since the preservation of this monastery becomes the foremost duty of His Holiness Rechung Rinpoche, he tried his best to maintain it. As been printed in the thousand canons of the Kagyu text, Mila vowed that He would come back to help His moon disciple to help him in the matter. It was non other than than His Holiness Gyalwa Jampa the Jetsun Milarepa who helped His Holiness Rechung Rinpoche in this auspicious endeavor. As such, the imprints of the thousand canons became a reality that it would be none other than Rechung Rinpoche's Teacher who would help Him in this endeavor. It was most auspicious and delightful that His Holiness Gyalwa Jampa the Jetsun Milarepa most rightfully and respectfully becomes His Holiness Rechung Rinpoche's Enlightened Teacher. Who else could have been His Holiness Rechung Rinpoche's teacher than the one who does the same as Milarepa does--spreading teachings through His Most Tranquil music, and helping all sentient beings in the most broadest manner. As requested, His Holiness Gyalwa Jampa the Jetsun Milarepa, the most auspicious Enlightened Teacher has been helping the reconstruction errand of the Dakini Monastery since December 31st 2005 until now. Now, the Dakini Monastery is on the verge of complete outer transformation and the work is expected to finish within May. All this has been possible because of the benevolent love of a Most Precious Teacher (His Holiness Gyalwa Jampa the Jetsun Milarepa) to his moon-like disciple (His Holiness Rechung Rinpoche). The only thing that now lacks is the visit of the Greatest Teacher to the Dakini Monastery, now renamed the Church of Shambhala's Dakini Monastery after it was offered to His Holiness Gyalwa Jampa the Jetsun Milarepa, the true incarnation of Milarepa. After all, in real sense, the monastery belongs to none other than Mila Himself. |
